Therapists at Community Reach subscribe to the belief that most emotional and behavioral reactions, good and not-so-good, have been learned. The goal of therapy here is to help clients "unlearn" undesirable reactions, and to discover new ways to react that bring more peace and less conflict to their lives.

Most of Center's counseling services are provided in a private, confidential, outpatient setting at the Community Reach Center outpatient office of your choice. Support groups are a form of therapy compatible with your individual sessions with your therapist, that can offer valuable insight and solutions to challenges that you're experiencing, as well as a forum where clients can celebrate recovery achievements. Each group is facilitated by a member of the Center's clinical staff. Enrollment for any group simply requires a referral from your therapist. Your therapist may refer you to a Case Manager to offer you extra support during your recovery process. Case Managers provide services in individual and group settings that are designed to promote independent living. Case Management services are tailored to each client's individual level of care, and adjusted accordingly as the level of care changes. |
