CounselingFree mental health services for victims of crimesNumerous group therapies are offered at all 5 Community Reach Center outpatient offices that can help victims of crimes with their healing process. These groups are funded in collaboration with a grant from the 17th Judicial District VALE Board so that victims of crimes can attend at no cost. Groups include a domestic violence victims group for women, which helps to educate and empower women toward living lives free of abuse. In a supportive atmosphere with a therapist leading the group, women are able to create plans for safety and healing and take charge of their lives. This group meets once per week for 16 weeks and is offered at various outpatient locations throughout the year.
