Community Reach Center is a leader in a very caring profession. We are committed to giving excellent care to our consumers, but it doesn't stop there. We're equally committed to providing excellent care to the employees that give so much to us. Since balancing your life and your future is important to you, we have incorporated a variety of benefits to ensure that our employees can bring the best they have to our workplace each day. Not only that, we provide a cutting-edge wellness program and on-going training and supervision to keep you growing, so that our employees keep getting better. Our employees are diverse and we love that about them. Consequently, the benefits we offer are flexible so you can choose the ones that best meet your needs in your situation. We offer our benefits to regular employees in keeping with our Employee Handbook. Since our part-time employees are a valuable part of our staff, we offer many of our benefits on a pro-rated basis to employees working at least twenty (20) hours but less than forty (40) hours per week.

Paid Time Off (PTO) combines earned time off for the purpose of vacation, personal time, and minor illnesses. Eligible full-time employees receive 20 days (160 hours) per year for the first two years of their employment with Community Reach Center, and 30 days (240 hours) per year thereafter. PTO accrues only on regular hours paid. Part-time employees accrue a percentage of PTO based on their regularly scheduled hours (for example, a person slated to work 30 hours per week would accrue 15 days per year rather than the full 20). You begin earning your PTO the first of the month following your date of hire. In addition to regularly accrued PTO, employees also accrue Extended Illness Bank (EIB) time at a rate of 4 hours per month for full-time employees (pro-rated for part-time employees). EIB hours are paid only for the purposes of the employee's prolonged hospitalization and/or extended illness, and are not accumulated as additional earnings payable upon termination.
Employees have a choice of medical coverage from two Great West CIGNA Plans. Employees may choose between a PPO Plan and a HDHP Plan, which carries the cost of co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance. Community Reach Center and eligible employees share a portion of the cost on family coverage. Coverage begins the first of the month following your date of hire.
Dental coverage is offered through Companion Life and Beta Health. The dental plans offered are the DMO, or a PPO. Employees may pay additional costs for upgraded or family coverage. Coverage begins the first of the month following your date of hire.
Life and AD&D Insurance coverage begins the first of the month following your date of hire. Coverage is equivalent to one times the employee's annual salary, not to exceed $200,000. Community Reach Center provides this benefit at no cost to its employees. Employees are also eligible to elect Voluntary Life insurance for themselves and their families.
Participants of Short or Long Term Disability are covered for 60% of their earnings up to $6,000 per month. Employees are eligible for Short and Long Term Disability the first of the month following three months of employment at Community Reach Center, and this coverage is provided at no cost to our employees. Short Term Disability is applicable to a documented disability and can continue up to day 90 days. Long Term Disability coverage becomes available after the first 90 days of disability.
All employees may participate in Community Reach Center's 401(k) Retirment Plan at their first payroll or any time after. This plan allows employees to direct pre-tax dollars into a qualified 401(k) retirement account. Once an employee becomes eligible for the 401(k) Retirement Plan, Community Reach Center will auto-enroll the employee in the 401(k) plan at a contribution rate of 4%. Employees may increase their contribution, or may choose to opt out of the enrollment. Participation in Community Reach Center's 401(k) Employer Contribution Plan becomes effective after one year of employment, provided that 1,000 hours are worked in that year. Participants must be at least 21 years old. Once an employee becomes eligible, Community Reach Center will contribute 3% of their gross salary into an investment plan. In addition, the Center will contribute 50% on any contribution an employee puts into the voluntary 401(k) Retirment Plan, up to 6% of the employee's annual gross salary. Employees are vested 100% in the 401(k) Retiement Plan after three years of service.
The Cafeteria Flexible Benefits plan allows employees to direct pre-tax dollars into a special fund which may be used to cover out-of-pocket medical, dental, or daycare expenses. Once dollars are spent on qualifying expenses, including some over-the-counter products, the employee submits the receipt to be reimbursed for the cost. We also offer the option of a Flexible Spending Mastercard to ease transactions at an extra cost.

Employees are eligible for the Anthem EAP plan. This plan offers face to face counseling, financial and legal advisors and child and elder care services. Also offered to all Community Reach Center employees is an EAP plan that partners with Auora Mental Health Center, Jefferson Mental Health Center, Boulder Mental Health Center, and Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Center. Employees and members of their immediate family are allowed six (6) counseling/therapy sessions at any of these facilities at no charge. Additional sessions may be procured on a sliding scale fee system.
Employees are eligible for Tuition Reimbursement upon completion of one year of employment with Community Reach Center.
