Laura Ferguson

Dir. of Quality Improvement

Laura joined Community Reach Center in November 2023 and leads quality improvement, utilization management, training, and medical records efforts for the organization. Laura brings over 20 years of experience in healthcare operations including executive leadership, program management, healthcare policy, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, clinical supervision, crisis assessment, and psychotherapy roles. Laura previously served as the state authority on involuntary treatment (27-65, C.R.S.) for the Behavioral Health Administration, and is passionate about system transformation and clinical quality of care. Behavioral health interests include operationalization of equity, diversity, and inclusion best practices; fostering healthy organizational culture; continuous quality improvement and regulatory compliance; expanding the use of somatic therapies; and mental health parity. Laura holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology and Counselor Education from the University of Colorado at Denver and is licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC) and Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Colorado. She values creativity, social justice, and lived experience.
