Adult Services

One in four adults are affected by mental illness each year, with depression and anxiety among the most commonly diagnosed conditions. For many people, an episode of mental illness is a temporary experience that can be treated quickly and effectively with medication and/or counseling. Community Reach Center offers mental health services through a complete care continuum that includes outpatient therapy, in-home services, assertive community treatment, psychosocial rehabilitation services, and much more. Regardless of the cause or severity of a mental illness, recovery is possible and knowing when and where to seek help is key.

Services and Information:

Community Reach Center has compassionate and experienced professionals ready to help sort through the problems facing adults and seniors in Adams County as well as the Denver metro area. Whether it is anxiety, panic attacks, depression, substance use disorder, bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, the mental health professionals at Community Reach Center are here to help. Our offices are located in Brighton, Commerce City, Thornton, Northglenn and Westminster.

Our mental health services are designed to help and support children, teens, adults and seniors at every stage of recovery.  Our professional staff provides outpatient counseling and Substance Use Disorder Treatment tailored to meet each person's unique needs.  If a client could benefit from additional support, Community Reach Center may recommend connecting with one of our Peer Specialists. Our Peer Specialists know what it’s like to experience a mental illness or drug and alcohol problem and are available to offer support, guidance and advocacy. Using evidence-based services, the Peer Specialist Program is aimed at instilling hope, decreasing stigma, and increasing recovery engagement.

Community Reach Center’s Assertive Community Treatment Team and intensive outpatient services offer structured support to people who may need a little extra help functioning within the community. Case management services help individuals get connected to the community resources they need, like medical, social, vocational and educational supports. Additionally, our Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services can help individuals to live productively and independently in the community by providing an array of supportive services designed to capitalize on personal strengths and develop coping strategies.

Many older adults benefit from Senior Reach, our in-home program that offers emotional, physical and case management support. With a strong partnership between agencies, businesses, and community-minded individuals, Senior Reach is an easy and effective way to help older adults get assistance before a serious crisis develops. Community Reach Center also provides counseling and supportive services to seniors who live in nursing homes and to the staff that care for them.

Mental illness touches many of us, which is why we offer a Friends & Family Support Group to the families, friends and individuals impacted by mental illness. Anyone dealing with a mental illness, including clients, family members and friends, can benefit from the support that Friends & Family Support Group offers. Meetings include education about mental illness, current treatments, research, resources and coping strategies.

Regardless of the situation, Community Reach Center has a program to meet the needs of the adults and seniors living in our Denver mental health community.
