2017 Commerce City Community Leadership & Contributor Award

Community Reach Center was awarded Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) Accreditation in October 2016. Community Reach Center is the first community mental health system in Colorado to earn CARF accreditation for any of its programs. CARF International is an independent, nonprofit agency that issues accreditation for providers of health and human services. Accreditation assists providers in improving the quality of their services, demonstrating value and meeting internationally recognized organizational and program standards.

Community Reach Center is honored to receive the 2016 Outstanding Non-Profit Organization by the Governor’s Service Commission.

CRC’s MHFA Program was awarded the 2016 CBHC Outstanding Mental Health Program at the CBHC Conference.

Rick Doucet, CEO, was presented the William Funk Award by Colorado Non-Profit Association, in recognition of building stronger communities. 

Community Reach Center’s Reach for Health & Well-being Committee was awarded the 2015 Golden Abacus Award for best practice in the non-clinical arena at the Colorado Behavioral Healthcare Council.

Community Reach Center named Adams County Youth Initiative Champion of the Year.

School District 27J named Community Reach Center “Community Business of the Year.”

Community Reach Center's Child Development Program was awarded the 2012 Golden Lightbulb Award for outstanding clinical practice by Colorado Behavioral Healthcare Council.  The Center's certified coders service was presented the 2012 Golden Abacus award for innovative business practice.

Mapleton School District presented Community Reach Center with the “Corporate Champion” award.

Associated Builders and Contractors presented Community Reach Center Foundation Board with the “Excellence in Construction Award” for the Brighton Learning & Resource Campus project.

The Adams County Community Development Board awarded Community Reach Center the “Lighting the Path” award.  The award is presented annually to the non-profit organization in Adams County who has demonstrated innovation in the use of funding received from Adams County.  Community Reach Center utilizes the funding to provide services to clients who are uninsured or under-insured. 

NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association presented Community Reach Center Foundation Board with the “Special Development Award” for the Brighton Learning & Resource Campus project.

Adams County Aging Network presented Community Reach Center with the Community Partners Award for outstanding commitment and service to the older adults of Adams County.

Community Reach Center receives Adams County Sheriff’s Business Service Citation.

Students with Community Reach Center’s Day Treatment Program were presented the Mayor’s Youth Award recognizing teenagers between the ages of 13 and 19 who have overcome personal adversity to create positive change in their lives.  The Day Treatment students were honored for their fundraising efforts on behalf of survivors of Hurricane Katrina.

North Suburban Medical Center chose Community Reach Center as their 2004 Community Partner, as part of HealthONE Hospitals' efforts to recognize community partners who have contributed to strengthening communities through quality care, service and compassion.
